The focus of this residency is on creative exploration. HAH offers time, studio space, natural surroundings, and an inspiring Maine coastal location for dancers to use to their best creative advantage. While in residence, artists will engage with the community determining how that engagement best supports their process. It will be made clear to community members that any presentations are part of the artists' process and not a finished performance.  

The opportunity for exchange and for learning exists equally for the artists and the residents of South Thomaston and surrounding towns. HAH is committed to supporting artists who have a clear sense of the importance of this reciprocity. Basic marketing and technical assistance for sharings will be supported on site.
